Hard Candy Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. light corn syrup
    3/4 c. water
    cinnamon oil
    red food coloring
Preparation
    In a saucepan, blend sugar, corn syrup and water.
    Bring to a boil over high heat until mixture reaches 290\u00b0.
    Remove pan from heat.
    Allow to stand until bubbles have simmered down.
    Add 8 to 10 drops of cinnamon oil and red food coloring as desired.
    Dip apples on sticks in mixture; allow to cool on cookie sheet sprayed with Pam.
