Pennsylvania Dutch Spiced Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef cubes
    1 qt. canned tomatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1 lb. mostaccioli
    3/4 c. grated Cheddar
Preparation
    Brown beef cubes in electric frying pan.
    Add tomatoes, salt and pepper, sugar and spices and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
    Cook pasta separately and drain.
    Add to first mixture.
    Sprinkle grated cheese on top and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Serve.
