Old Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 eggs
1 c. sugar or honey
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon
1 Tbsp. rounded baking powder
enough flour to make a very stiff dough

Note:
If honey is used, only 1/4 cup of milk should be used.
