Seven Minute Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites, beaten
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. cold water
    1 1/2 tsp. light syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put all ingredients, except vanilla, in upper double boiler. Mix well by beating with beater.
    Cook 7 minutes over boiling water.
    Icing is done when it stands in peaks.
    Remove from stove.
    Add vanilla.
    Beat until thick enough to spread.
