Onion Cheese Supper Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. packaged biscuit mix
    1 c. shredded sharp processed American cheese
    2 Tbsp. snipped parsley
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Cook onion in small amount hot fat until tender, but not brown.
    Combine egg and milk.
    Add to biscuit mix.
    Stir only until mix is just moistened.
    Add onion, half the cheese and parsley.
    Spread dough in greased 8 x 1 1/2-inch round cake pan. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
    Drizzle melted butter over.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
    Perfect salad go-with.
