Harvard Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. beet liquid
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 c. cooked beets
Preparation
    Combine cornstarch, sugar, vinegar and salt; mix well. Slowly stir in beet liquid; blend to smooth mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until sauce is clear and thick. Add butter and beets and mix well.
