Opal'S Blackberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1 c. butter or margarine
    3 eggs
    2 c. canned blackberries (I use Thank You brand in heavy syrup)
    juice (as liquid for cake)
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Sift together flour, spices, soda and cloves.
    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Blend well.
    Add dry ingredients; mix well.
    Stir in blackberries until mixture is smooth.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour (or until done) in Bundt pan.
