7-Up Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon or lime Jell-O
2 c. boiling water
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut in small pieces
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1/2 c. maraschino cherries (optional)
1 c. 7-Up
few drops green food coloring (optional)
Preparation

Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water.
Add cream cheese.
Beat with electric mixer at low speed until smooth.
Stir in pineapple, sugar, vanilla, food coloring and nuts, if desired.
Add 7-Up. Chill until set.
Stir when partially set to keep nuts from coming to top.
