Christmas Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 lb. pineapple (4 slices)
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    1 1/2 lb. (qt.) chopped pecans
    1/2 lb. dates
Preparation
    Chop all fruit and nuts. Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Sift all flour, salt, cinnamon and soda together. Add flour and vanilla.
    Gradually stir in all fruit and nuts. Drop from teaspoon on greased cookie sheet and bake 20 minutes at 300\u00b0.
