Apple Butter Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 c. apple butter
3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream together margarine and brown sugar; add egg, beating well.
Combine soda and buttermilk.
Combine flour and spices, add to creamed mixture alternating with buttermilk mixture, beginning and ending with flour.
Stir in apple butter and chopped pecans. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and five minutes or until pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes then remove to wire rack, and cool completely.
