Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large bunch broccoli
    1 medium head cauliflower
    4 to 6 stalks celery
    1 medium green bell pepper
    1/2 red onion
    1 or 2 (4 1/2 oz.) cans sliced olives
    1 or 2 cans sliced mushrooms
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 (approximately 10 oz.) bottle Italian dressing
    3 pkg. Italian dressing mix
    3 to 4 green onions
Preparation
    Wash, trim and thinly slice the broccoli, cauliflower, celery and pepper crosswise.
    Dice red onion and green onions small; drain olives, mushrooms and water chestnuts.
    Cut mushrooms smaller; quarter the water chestnuts.
    Mix vegetables in large bowl with lid that seals tight.
    Mix Italian dressing and 3 packages dressing mix together well; pour over vegetables.
    Mix well.
    Cover salad tightly.
    Let marinate for at least 12 hours, turning occasionally.
