Chocolate Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. soft shortening
    3 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
    1 1/4 c. milk, divided (buttermilk or sour milk)
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
Preparation
    Preheat
    oven to
    350\u00b0.
    Grease,
    then
    line
    with
    wax paper, 2 (9-inch) layer pans.
    Sift into large Mixmaster Mixer bowl sifted flour, granulated sugar, salt and soda.
    Add brown sugar, shortening, chocolate,
    3/4 cup milk and vanilla.
    Beat 30 seconds at No. 1 to moisten flour; then 2 minutes at No. 4. Add
    remaining milk and eggs.
    Beat 1 1/2 minutes longer; pour into pans.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes; cool.
