Mexican Cornbread With Meat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1/3 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 (8 3/4 oz.) can cream-style corn
    1/3 c. chopped onions
    2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef, browned
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, combine first 6 ingredients.\tCombine remaining ingredients and add to dry ingredients and stir only until moistened.
    Pour into a greased 9-inch square baking pan or 10-inch heavy skillet.
    Bake
    at
    350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until bread is
    golden
    brown and tests done.
    Serve with a salad and you have a complete meal.
