Baymee Syamee (Okra)Ahlen Wah Sahlen: The Door Is Open-Welcome. - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. okra
    juice of 1/2 lemon
    2 onions, chopped
    1/2 c. olive oil
    1 c. stewed tomatoes
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Wash and trim okra not too close to the top.
    Sprinkle with lemon juice, let stand 20 minutes.
    Make sauce by frying onions lightly in the oil, add tomatoes and water and parsley, simmer awhile.
    Then put half the tomato sauce on the bottom of casserole; drain okra, put on top sauce.
    Cover with rest sauce, season, cover and bake in slow oven 300\u00b0 for 1/2 hour until okra is tender.
    Can be cooked on top stove.
    This serves 4 people.
    Delicious.
