Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    4 c. hot mashed potatoes
    1 egg, beaten
    1/3 c. finely chopped onions
    1/4 c. chopped chives (optional)
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Combine softened cheese and potatoes.
    Mix until blended.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Place in 1-quart casserole.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
    (You can make the night before and bake it the next day.)
