Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. berries (after crushed)
    8 c. sugar
    1 3/4 c. boiling water
    2 pkg. Sure-Jell
Preparation
    Mix berries and sugar and let stand 1 hour (stir often).
    Add to boiling water the Sure-Jell and boil 1 minute.
    Pour over berries and stir until juice is clear and begins to thicken.
    Put in jars and let stand 12 hours.
    Seal and freeze.
    Makes approximately 12 pints.
