Chocolate-Chip Pudding Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 - 3.4 oz. pkg. chocolate pudding, not instant
    1 box chocolate cake mix
    chocolate chips
    peanut butter chips, optional
    nuts, chopped, optional
    Cool Whip, optional
Preparation
    Cook pudding as directed on package. When pudding comes to a full boil, remove from heat. Add dry cake mix. Stir well and pour into a 9x13 lightly greased
    pan. (Batter will be stiff). Spread mixture to cover pan and sprinkle chocolate chips liberally over top, along with peanut butter chips and nuts, if using. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool and cut into squares. This may be served plain or with Cool Whip.
