Brodyinkle'S Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans sauerkraut (1 lb. size), rinsed and drained
    2 jars (8 oz.) chopped pimentos, drained
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large bell pepper, diced
    1 bunch green onions (tops too), chopped
    1 small bunch celery hearts, chopped
    1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Combine the vinegar, sugar and celery seed and bring to a boil. Cool and pour over kraut mixture. Refrigerate for 24 hours.
