Aunt Jane Ashe'S German Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

                            1/2 c. sugar
 
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
salt, pepper and celery seed to taste
1 lb. cabbage
1 green pepper
1 onion
Preparation
- 
                            Heat sugar, vinegar, vegetable oil, salt, pepper and celery seed, but do not boil.
 
Shred cabbage, green pepper and onion. Pour hot syrup over shredded vegetables.
Mix well.
Will keep 2 weeks.
