Strawberry Shortcake(Lo-Cal) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine
1/3 c. sugar
1 large egg, separated
1 3/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. skim milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg white
2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Beat two egg whites until stiff.
Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and set aside.
Beat margarine, sugar, egg yolk and salt.
Add vanilla to milk.
Add baking powder to flour.
Add liquid and dry alternately as you mix.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Put in a greased and floured 9-inch pan.
Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 until done and golden brown.
