Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. molasses
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. ginger
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream together the first 5 ingredients.
    Sift together the remaining dry ingredients twice.
    Mix dry ingredients well with creamed mixture.
    Shape into balls and dip in sugar.
    Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Let stand on cookie sheet until cooled.
