Chicken Dumplings(My Mama'S Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. cold water
Preparation
    Mix ingredients well.
    Turn out on a well floured paper and knead the dough
    until
    you
    can
    handle it.
    Divide dough into 4 balls and
    roll
    out thin; cut into small pieces.
    Have chicken broth boiling to a full rolling boil as you drop dough pieces in. Do not
    stir.
    Take
    a
    fork
    and lightly separate. Lower heat. Add
    chicken,
    which
    has been deboned, and black pepper.
    Cover and let
    set
    for
    about
    1 hour.
    This makes a large pot of dumplings.
