Gramma'S Graham Cracker Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    2 egg yolks, beaten
    1 c. milk
    24 graham crackers
    2 tsp. baking powder
    a little salt
    vanilla
    2 egg whites, beaten stiffly
    1/2 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter together.
    Add beaten egg yolks, milk and graham crackers, rolled fine with the baking powder, a little salt and vanilla.
    Add egg whites and walnuts.
    Cook in layer tins for 1/2 hour.
    Best served with whipped cream.
