Blue Damson Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. blue damsons, pitted
1 1/2 c. sugar or 1/2 c. brown sugar and 1 c. white
2 Tbsp. flour or tapioca
2 Tbsp. butter
2 eggs, beaten
Preparation

Cook damsons with sugar and a little water (up to halfway of plums in pan).
Cook until done.
Remove from heat and add flour or tapioca, butter and beaten eggs.
Pour into pie crust and top with pie crust.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for about 15 minutes, then lower oven temperature to 350\u00b0 and bake about 35 minutes more.
