Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. water
2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 egg yolks
1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Brown butter in saucepan.
Add sugar and water; boil until sugar is dissolved.
Combine cornstarch, egg yolks and milk; add to first part.
Cook until thickened.
Pour into baked pie shell while hot.
Makes 1 pie.
