Jet'S Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    about 10 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    2 cakes compressed yeast
    2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Mix together and bring to boiling the milk, sugar, mashed potatoes, butter and salt.
    Let cool and add the yeast, baking powder and baking soda.
    Add enough flour to make a stiff dough. Knead and put in refrigerator (\"icebox\") for 24 hours. Take out and mold into rolls.
    Let rise 2 hours (or until doubled in size). Bake in quick oven at 400\u00b0 until brown, from 7 to 10 minutes. Return unused portion to refrigerator.
    Dough keeps about a week.
