Zucchini-Cheddar Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell, thawed
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2/3 c. thinly sliced zucchini
    2 Tbsp. thinly sliced green onions
    2 eggs
    1 1/4 c. evaporated milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    ground nutmeg
Preparation
    In pie shell, arrange cheese, zucchini and onions in bottom. Beat eggs slightly in bowl, using a rotary beater. Add evaporated milk and salt; blend well. Pour over mixture in pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 325\u00b0 and bake 25 minutes or until a knife inserted halfway between the center and edge comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. This is delicious served cold.
