Stuffed Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 1/2 c. cooked rice
    2 tomatoes, sliced
    2 green peppers, sliced
    1 onion, sliced
    1 1/2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Sear chops in shortening; place in broiler pan.
    Top each chop with rice, tomato, green pepper, and onion slices.
    Pour water in bottom of broiler.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 6.
