Texas Sheet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. granulated sugar
2 c. flour
pinch of salt
1 stick oleo
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. hot water
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. buttermilk or 1/2 c. milk with 1 Tbsp. vinegar
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix in saucepan oleo, cocoa, hot water and shortening.
Stir until rolling boil.
Pour over first three dry ingredients.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Bake on greased 11 x 16-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Ice immediately from oven.
