Hot Mix - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. dill seed
    1 large clove garlic
    2 onions, chunked
    1/2 c. jalapeno peppers, sliced
    2 ribs celery, scrape string off and cut into 1-inch pieces
    1/2 lb. carrots, peeled and sliced 1/4-inch thick
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    In sterilized quart jar, place the first four ingredients. Prepare vegetables and add to jar in layers.
    Combine vinegar and water in small saucepan; bring to a boil.
    Pour over vegetables in jar.
    Cover jar with lid; cool.
    Chill in refrigerator.
    This keeps indefinitely in refrigerator.
