Pineapple Open-Face Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 #2 can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 Tbsp. corn starch
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    6 baked (3 inch) tart shell
    1/2 pt. heavy cream, whipped
Preparation
    Combine pineapple, brown sugar, corn starch and salt.
    Cook over low heat until thickened and clear, about 5 to 8 minutes. Stir in butter.
    Cool.
    Spoon into baked tart shells and top with whipped cream.
    Makes 6 servings.
