Christmas Cutout Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda

Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Add sifted dry ingredients.
Roll out and cut into desired shapes.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Ice and decorate cookies.
Best to let dough chill before rolling out. Makes 4 dozen.
