Sweet Potatoes And Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium cooking apples
5 medium sweet potatoes
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Boil potatoes until tender; cool.
Peel and slice 1/4-inch thick slices.
Peel and core apples.
Slice into 1/4-inch thick rings.
Butter a 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.
Put 1/2 the potatoes on bottom, then apples, then rest of potatoes on top.
Combine the rest of ingredients.
Pour over potatoes and apples.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
