Easy Blackberry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    3/4 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. almond or vanilla extract
    1 (16 oz.) can blackberries or your favorite canned fruit (undrained)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Place butter in an 8-inch square baking dish. Place dish in oven at 350\u00b0 for 3 to 5 minutes or until butter melts. Combine flour and sugar in a medium bowl; add milk and almond extract, stirring until smooth.
    Pour batter over melted butter. (Do not stir.) Pour blackberries over batter. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 55 minutes or until golden. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Makes 6 servings.
