Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. red food coloring (about 3 small bottles)
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. soda
    2 1/2 c. sifted self-rising flour
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add all other ingredients gradually until all are mixed.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done (check with toothpick).
    Makes 2 large or 3 small layers.
