Cherries In The Snow Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 angel food cake
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 large container Cool Whip
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Cut cake into bite size pieces.
    Place 1/2 of the cake in dish.
    Beat cream cheese and sugar together.
    Add Cool Whip; mix well.
    Put 1/2 of this mixture over cake.
    Add other 1/2 of cake, then the remainder of cheese mixture.
    Top with pie filling. Chill and serve.
