Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pastry for 9-inch one crust pie
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. margarine or butter, melted
    1 c. corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 c. pecan halves or broken pieces
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Prepare pastry.
    Beat sugar, margarine, corn syrup, salt and eggs with hand beater in medium bowl.
    Stir in pecans.
    Pour into pastry-lined pie plate.
    Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until set.
    Yields 8 servings, 515 calories per serving.
