Fresh Squeezed Lemonade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. fresh lemon juice, chilled (about 6 lemons)
    lemon wedges
Preparation
    Combine water and sugar in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute.
    Remove from heat; let cool.
    Pour sugar mixture into a pitcher; chill.
    Add lemon juice to sugar mixture; stir well.
    Serve over ice.
    Garnish with lemon wedges, if desired.
    Yields 1 quart (serving size:
    1 cup).
