Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1 medium potato, grated
    1 egg
    3/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients; form into balls.
    (Do not brown.)
    Simmer meat balls in a sauce of 1 quart of ginger ale and 32 ounces of ketchup.
    Do not stir until they have cooked for 20 minutes.
    They do not fall apart.
    Serve over noodles.
    Serves 10 to 12.
