Mushroom Pate - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    6 medium size mushrooms
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder or to taste
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Clean and slice the mushrooms.
    Cook in the butter for 2 minutes.
    Puree in a blender until smooth.
    Add cream cheese and garlic powder; blend well.
    Chill and serve with crackers or vegetables.
