Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/8 lb. butter or margarine
    4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 can evaporated milk (14 or 15 oz. size)
    1/4 c. white Karo
Preparation
    Melt butter and chocolate together in double boiler.
    Combine with remaining ingredients and cook over boiling water about 20 minutes, or until all sugar is dissolved and mixture begins to thicken.
    Stir often.
    Good warm or cold.
    (It will be thick when cold).
