Loraine'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    20 Ritz crackers
    butter, softened
    nutmeg
    unbaked pie crust for 2 crust pie
Preparation
    Boil water, sugar and cream of tartar for 5 minutes.
    While boiling, add one at a time, 20 Ritz crackers.
    Do not stir; pour into an unbaked pie crust.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg and dot with butter; cover with top crust.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 approximately 25 minutes.
