Egg Pastry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 egg
1 tsp. vinegar
1/2 c. ice water
Preparation

Sift flour and salt.
Cut in shortening until it looks like cornmeal.
Beat egg slightly.
Add vinegar and water.
Gradually add egg mix to dry ingredients.
Mix enough to hold dough together. Work on wax paper.
Keeps for a week in refrigerator.
Can be frozen indefinitely.
Makes 3 to 4 single shells.
