Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1 c. milk
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 chopped onion
    1 can green chiles
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 can creamed corn
    1 lb. Cheddar cheese
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
Preparation
    Brown meat with onion; drain. Mix together the corn meal, eggs, milk, baking powder, salt, corn and chile. Pour 1/2 of batter in greased casserole dish, all of the meat and grated cheese. Put remainder of batter on top of cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 45 minutes. Recipe can be doubled.
