Turtle Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 (14 oz.) bag Kraft caramels
3/4 c. butter
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation

Prepare cake mix per package.
Pour half the batter into a greased/floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, melt caramels, butter and milk in saucepan over low heat.
Stir constantly.
Pour this over half baked cake while cake is hot.
Top with chocolate chips and pecans.
Then pour on the remaining batter.
Bake for another 20 to 30 minutes.
Do not underbake.
