Ingredients

1 1/4 sticks margarine
2 c. light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. dates, chopped
1 c. Angel Flake coconut
Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar.
Add eggs and mix well.
Add flour, salt and baking powder.
Mix thoroughly.
Add nuts, dates and coconut and mix well.
Pour and spread into floured and greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan or can be layered (the texture is stiff, so you may have to press it down with a large spoon).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Cool and cut into squares and roll each square in powdered sugar.
