Ranch Style Lentil Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. lentils
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 c. catsup
    1 tsp. vinegar
    5 c. boiling water
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Add salt to 5 cups boiling water; add lentils and cook for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Brown beef; drain off excess oil and transfer meat to a 2 1/2-quart casserole dish. Stir in remaining ingredients; cover and bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    To freeze, cook and seal securely.
    Yield:
    8 to 10 servings.
