Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh peaches
    1 stick margarine
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine 3/4 cup sugar and peaches, let stand for 20 minutes. Melt margarine in bottom of 1 1/2-quart baking dish in oven.
    Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and add milk.
    Stir briskly.
    Pour into baking dish.
    Top with peaches.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
