Old Fashioned Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 qt. sweet milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
6 eggs
nutmeg
2 pie crusts

Preparation

Warm milk. Sift salt and sugar together. Add to milk. Beat eggs slightly and add to milk mixture. Pour into slightly baked crust. Cover with nutmeg. Bake until knife placed into pie comes out clean. Makes 2 pies.
