Ingredients

2 egg yolks, save whites
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. lard-- crisco may be used
3/4 c. molasses
2 c. flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ginger
pinch of salt
1 c. boiling water with 2 tsp soda
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together. Add flour enough to thicken to roll out dough. Cut with cookie cutter according to the seasons. Bake 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes. Frost the baked cookies with 7 minute frosting.
